The Enrollment Registrar Coordinator works at the GC’s Registrar’s Office and reports to the Director of Student Services and Senior Registrar.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Responsible for the maintenance, data quality, and integrity of student milestones as reported by the academic programs and recorded in CUNYfirst.
Responsible for the maintenance, data quality and integrity of transcript text as reported by the academic programs and recorded in CUNYfirst.
Collaborates with the Deputy Director of Student Services and Dissertation Librarian to coordinate the dissertation/thesis deposit process.
Maintains GC’s CUNYfirst Course Catalog ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the course information as approved by the Graduate Council.
Maintains department budget/purchasing processes.
Responds to email inquiries submitted to department and provides information, instructions, and materials as requested by students, faculty, and others who contact the department.
Assists in supervising part-time staff responsible for transcript production.
Serves as liaison with Credential Solutions coordinating delivery of transcript services for students requesting transcripts remotely.
Bachelor's Degree required.
A preferred candidate should have:
Knowledge of Stellent and PeopleSoft Campus Solutions
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Strong attention to details
Previous experience in Registrar or with record keeping
CUNY TITLE OVERVIEW
Provides operational support for registration operations.
Provides advice on academic and administrative registration requirements
Interprets and communicates academic, registration and enrollment policies and procedures
Assists with registration and provides information to prospective and enrolled students in registration and records-related areas
Complies, generates, and updates various reports, catalogs, and inventories
Maintains compliance with established record release procedures, including the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
Collaborates with College and University offices to address inquires and concerns and resolve student registration and record problems
May participate in activities related to course scheduling and maintaining course databases
May monitor and revise the content of web pages and other communication materials
Performs related duties as assigned.
